This garlicky bean dip is full of flavor (especially garlic), has a bit of a kick (cayenne), and is packed with protein and fiber. This is a vegan-friendly recipe and is full of good-for-you-fats!
Yields about 1 ½ cups
2 cloves garlic, crushed and peeled
¼ teaspoon salt
1 (15 ½ ounce) can of Great Northern beans, drained and rinsed well
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 ½ fresh sage, chopped
Mash the garlic cloves with the salt. Add to a food processor. Add the remaining ingredients and puree until smooth. Top with a little extra olive oil if using it as a dip!
